Moana End Of Movie. She responds with a story about how Moanas dad almost died along with his friend after going beyond the reef. But one fan has now shared a wild theory that Moana voiced by Auliʻi Cravalho actually dies early on in the movie and it actually sounds like they could be onto something. Now that weve seen the smash hit another delightful change has become evident. Moana follows the story of a girl from a Polynesian village who is chosen by the ocean to return the heart of Te Fiti.
For much of the film she had very little agency of her own. Te Fiti returns to her original lush self restoring the balance. She sets said in search of demigod Maui to help him return the heart. At the end of the movie in her great confrontation with the villainous lava monster Moana realizes that its not a monster at all but Te Fiti the mother island whose heart was stolen. Bang for your Buck. She runs to the master hut where Tui is addressing the council trying to assure them they wont run out of food.
Ironically she ends up in the same situation when her foot got caught in coral after she crashed.
She was not that different a person at the end of the film than she was at the beginning. USA Stream Now Carries Rating. The ocean calls out to. That puts Moana 2 release date in the same window again. But one fan has suggested that Moana dies early in the film meaning her journey isnt actually real. Centuries later we meet Moana the princess of a small island in Polynesia who has a special connection with the ocean.
